GQ’s February 2015 issue features “The Legacy Project,” which is a Hall of Fame portfolio of music makers who have made some noise over the last 12 months. The cover features hitmaker Pharrell Williams and 17 other artists inside of the issue. Shot by photographer Pari Dukovic, “The Legacy Project” features all the artists in either bold energetic shots or simple and intimate captures. Shooting all of them in only 76 days, Dukovic traveling 20,560 miles to shoot in cities like Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, New York, and Miami.
“I wasn’t happy about the T.I. situation. They did that record hoping for radio play, and they got nothing out of it…. Great, you got your No. 1 hip-hop song. But what does that do for your sales?” he says explaining the new T.I. record, which he produced on the album Paperwork.
The GQ February 2015 issue will be available on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on January 20th and nationally January 27th.
