Hand picked by Givenchy’s creative direction Riccardo Tisci, Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts is now the new face of the brand. In the ad campaign, which was shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, shoe her in a dark and mysterious nature, minimal makeup, and “boyish” Givenchy pieces.
“I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure,” Tisci told WWD. “It’s a different, fresh, new way to see Julia — really cool and urban, I think.”
The ad campign will be available in the March issues of fashion magazines nationwide.
